EcoHimal supports development projects in the Himalayan-Hindukush regions and is actively involved in education on development policy in the Alpine countries.

Our work focuses on the following sectors:

• sustainable agriculture and regional development
• cultural cooperation

All projects pursue ecological, economic, social and cultural objectives and are implemented in close collaboration with the local communities in our regional development projects.

Assisting rural communities of the Himalayas to achieve better living conditions on a long-term basis and supporting them in taking the development of their region into their own hands – this is the basic mission of EcoHimal.

These projects are funded with public money from Austria and Switzerland, and by sponsors and private donors.
